Kevin Dewayne Jefferson was born on December 31, 1972, to the parentage of Charlie Lee Jefferson, Jr. and Angela Jefferson.  He departed this life on Tuesday, June 23, 2020. 

“Dirty K,” as he was known to many, attended Brainerd High School.  He was a construction worker for Tony’s Air Conditioning Services.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charlie Lee Jefferson, Jr.; sister, Shanneta “Netta” Jefferson; grandparents, Charlie Lee (Mattie) Jefferson, Sr. and Lorene Jemison; uncle, Charles Wheeler.

Those family left to cherish him include mother, Angela Jefferson; sister, Deneasia S. Caudle, Nekita Johnson; children, Kameron Sales, Devonta Anderson, Telisa and Talaya Grogins, Jaylon Poindexter; two grandsons; aunts, Susan (Leslie) Freeman, Doris Williams, Wanda (William) McGhee, Dorothy (Charlie) Copeland, Mary Shepard, Hazel Jefferson; Linda (Warren) Hines; uncle, Wilbert (Roberta) Wheeler, Sr.; devoted cousins, Shaquita Fortson, PeeWee and LeeLee McGhee, Tonya Williams, Erika Jefferson, Erica and Shaneya Copeland; close friends, Gene Lee and Monica Carter; special friend, Tiffany Poindexter.

A public viewing will be held from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1. A private family service will be held. Interment will be in Highland Memory Gardens.
