Esther Earlene Wagar Bishop
Esther Earlene Wagar Bishop, 85, of Cleveland, Tennessee, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, June 28, 2020 at her home, surrounded by her family.
She was a member of Peerless Road Church of God of Prophecy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Denver Bishop; parents, Ashel Tyler Wagar and Rebecca Esther Duggar Wagar; son, Tim Bishop; brother and sister-in-law, Phillip and Joyce Wagar; and special aunt, Ruth Lawson.
She is survived by her children, Gary Bishop (Linda Watson) of Cleveland, Tammie Currin of Cleveland, Ashel (Vickie) Bishop of Cleveland, and Tyler Bishop of Cleveland; grandchildren, Nathan Currin, Timothy Currin, Lea Hodges (Jeff), Michael Bishop (Tiffany Dasher), Sam Bishop; and great-grandchildren, Lexi Bishop, Adam Bishop, Noah Currin, Hayden Currin, Alyssa Currin, and Zachary Hodges.
A celebration of her life will be held Thursday, July 2, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Reverend Londa Richardson and Jason Gilbert officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with her sons and grandsons serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony and the playing of bagpipes will conclude the service. The service will be live-streamed on Ralph Buckner Funeral Home’s Facebook page for you to view.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 1, from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
