Mize, Melvin Douglas (Wildwood)

Melvin Douglas Mize, 78, of Wildwood, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at his residence.

Mr. Mize was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a retired conductor from CSX Railroad with 27 years of service. He was of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by his daughter, Tracy Kesler, and grandson, Griff Kesler.

Survivors include his wife, JoAnn Mize; children, Cindy (Bo) Jones and Gerald (Kim) Mize; grandchildren, Amanda (Jay) Thomas, Jamie Ramsey, Ben (Krystal) Jones, Brittany DeLeon, Brandon James, Courtney Mize and Logan Mize; great-grandchildren, Dalton & Canon Ramsey, Karlee Jo Crisp, Jacob, Jade & Andy Thomas, Hunter King, Reese, Payton & Benjamin Jones, Kensizle & Karver Mize and Payton & Hayden DeLeon.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, Aug. 7 at Johntown Cemetery in West Blocton, Al. at noon.
