Charlotte Ann Cox, 68, a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, September 23, 2020. She was a member of White Oak Baptist Church and a selfless Christian lady that lived out the Golden Rule.
Charlotte worked as a probate clerk in the Dade County Probate Office for several years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Betty Kinsey and grandparents, Clyde and Grace Brown.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 50 years, Ronald Cox; daughter, Desta (Jeremy) Sims; sons, Roger (Jeanette) Cox and Ron (Penny) Cox; eight grandchildren, Justin Sims, Hayden Cox, Macy Cox, Garner Cox, Gabrielle Cox, Ambry Cox, Alex Cox and Tucker Sims; three great-grandchildren, Cash Sims, Jolene Sims and Colt Cox; sisters, Judy Kinsey and Marlyna Locke; and nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday, Sept. 26 in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home, with Brother Jeff Daniels officiating. Interment will be held in Lakewood Memory Gardens South.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 4-8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m.-noon.
