ReNee’ Fair Haney, of Cleveland passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021 at a Chattanooga hospital.  She was born November 25th to the late Hoyt O. and Ruth Turpin Fair.  ReNee’ attended Bradley Central High School and was a member of the 1957 graduating class.  After she graduated she attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.  She worked as a secretary at Blythe Avenue Elementary School before taking a job with the U.S. Forest Service where she later retired.
She was a lifelong member of the Central Church of Christ.  ReNee’s main passions in life were God, family and friends.  She was always full of joy, evidenced by her unique laugh that always preceded her into any room.  It was a rare occasion that you ever saw her without a family member wrapped in her arms, grinning ear to ear.  The love she knew for her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren knew no bounds.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her in-laws, Lester and Mary Climer Haney; grandsons, Tyler Cox and Carson Thacker; and granddaughter, Maylyn Thacker.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband of 57 years, Franklin Haney; children, George O. Haney and wife, Debbie, Holli Carroll and Kippi Haney; grandchildren, Heather (Jeremy) Rogers, Hunter (Evie) Haney, Drake Haney, Chase Ann Haney, Alie Cox and Kegan Cox; great grandchildren, Lilli and Willow Rogers; aunt, Vivian Turpin; dear friend, Nancy Sitzler; and an entire host of extended family and friends.
The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 15, 2021 at Central Church of Christ with Minister Ryan Ary and Minister Wayne Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with George O. Haney, Hunter Haney, Drake Haney, Jeremy Rogers, Darrell Coffey and Bobby Haney serving as pallbearers.
Her family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Friday at the church prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make a donation to an organization of your choice.
