Patsy Edgemon Gant, 78, passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2021.
She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. Patsy was a graduate of Meigs County High School and East Tennessee State College. She was a teacher in Walker County Schools for over 38 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Lloyd Gant, Jr. and a sister, Peggy Boggess.
Survivors include her daughter, Kandy (Robb) Gilstrap; two grandchildren, Haynie Jane Gilstrap and Harrison Gant Gilstrap; brother, B. Edgemon; sister, Cobia Edgemon; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 20, at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road with the Reverend Jim Bennett officiating. Burial will be in Edgemon Cemetery in Ten Mile, Tn.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 19, at the funeral home.
