Gerald Ronald Allen, age 69, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Sunday, October 24, 2021 at his home.

He was born Dec. 13, 1951 in Detroit, Mi.

He was preceded in death by his friend, David Allen.

He is survived by his family of the Carter Hope Center, Chuck Smith, Karah Smith, Sheilah and Tommy Cline, Isaac Jarrett, David Emery, Kathy and Sonny Atkins, Gina Moss, Chanity Brannon, Sherry Owens; daughters, Shanna Powell and Emily Brady; and special pets, Precious and Penny.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, Oct. 31, at 4 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel.

They will receive friends at the funeral home from 3-4 p.m. on Sunday.   

In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Carter Hope Center.
