Sharon Denise "Sherry" Morgan
Sharon Denise "Sherry" Morgan, age 64, of Scoggins Street, Summerville, Georgia, passed away Monday, October 25, 2021, in a Rome hospital.
A native of Chattooga County, she was born on Dec. 21, 1956, to Billy Joe and Betty Imogene Atchley Simpson, who survive. Mrs. Morgan was Baptist by faith and was assistant manager, retired from the Family Dollar Store.
Surviving are husband, Gary Morgan; parents, Billy and Betty Simpson; daughter, Kristie Michelle Morgan; son, Joseph William Morgan; sister, Lisa Simpson Cordell; brother, Timothy Jason Simpson; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
The graveside service will be held Wednesday, Oct. 27, at 2 p.m. from the Summerville Cemetery with Pastor Steve Collins officiating. There will be no visitation.
Earle Rainwater Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
