H. D. “Jim” Gay
H. D. “Jim” Gay, 87, of Hixson, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2021.
He retired with over 40 years of service from Central Soya Company as regional manager. Jim was an avid golfer, member of Creeks Bend Golf Club and loved to participate in the golfing charity events. He was a member of the NRA.
Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Annette W. Gay; daughters, Laura Campbell and Suzy Gay Rader.
Jim is survived by his daughter, Linda (Gary) Fox of Louisville, KY; son, Jim (Lisa) Gay of Vero Beach, FL; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; sister, Bonnie Watson; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 12-2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 2, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Jim’s life will follow at 2 p.m. on Thursday at the North Chapel. Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
