Ernest “Ernie” Charles Antes
Ernest “Ernie” Charles Antes, 87, of Ooltewah, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021.
Ernie was born in Hamilton, Ohio where he was a graduate of Hamilton High School. He received an associate degree in accounting from the University of Cincinnati. He went on to have a successful career as the president of Casting Materials Company. He loved his country, antique cars, traveling, sports, golf, and spending time with family and friends. He was a mason, a Gideon, and a member of the Marine Corps League. He was active in two antique car clubs as well as his church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Andrew Antes and Edna Dwinell Antes, and a daughter, Deborah Feltner.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 47 years, Judy; daughters, Heather (David) Boon and Robyn Antes; grandchildren, Avery and Skyler Boon.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 12, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Larry Williams officiating. Entombment will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
