  • Wednesday, December 1, 2021

Six18 Restaurant & Lounge is now open to the public for dinner and carryout 4-9 p.m. Tuesday to Thursday, and 4-10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Lunch, brunch and late-night service will begin soon – for updates, follow Six18 Restaurant & Lounge on Facebook and Instagram.

Six18 brings elevated Southern cuisine, plus wines, cocktails and 12 on-tap brews to 618 Georgia Ave. Formerly Jefferson’s restaurant, the completely renovated space includes a plush dining room, after hours lounge, private dining space and patio.

Executive Chef Andi Allgood led the creation of Six18’s Southern-inspired brunch, lunch, dinner and late-night fare including sandwiches, entrée salads, high-quality meats, seafood and fresh vegetables. Menu includes items like catfish and grits, crawfish pimento cheese and fried chicken.

“At Six18, we’re combining lavish décor, Southern cuisine with a modern twist and friendly service in the heart of downtown,” Chef Andi said. “It’s upscale yet welcoming, simple yet elevated, with a menu curated to create a one-of-a-kind experience.”

Chef Andi previously served as executive chef and owner of Kozy Cooking Catering in Chattanooga. She studied at Le Cordon Bleu in Atlanta and has 28 years of hospitality and restaurant experience, including with local restaurants like Blue Orleans. In 2013, she served as executive chef for the Ambassador’s Ball for President Obama’s inauguration.

Self-parking is available in several nearby lots, plus on-street parking free after 6 p.m.
