Morning Pointe Names New Regional VP Of Operations For Bluegrass Region

Gerald “Gerry” Jackson has been named regional vice president of operations for the Bluegrass Region at Morning Pointe Senior  Living. Mr. Jackson will directly oversee operations for 12 senior living and Memory Care communities in Kentucky and Indiana.

Founded in 1996 by healthcare entrepreneurs Greg A. Vital and J. Franklin Farrow, Morning Pointe Senior Living is the developer, owner, and manager of 35 senior living and The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence communities in five southeastern states. 

“I’m honored to join the Morning Pointe team,” said Mr. Jackson. “I look forward to working with our established, talented team of executive directors and leaders to focus on what we do best, and that is provide excellent care and engaging programming for residents and a dynamic place for associates to grow a career in senior living.”

A 30-year veteran of the healthcare and senior living industry, Mr. Jackson comes to Morning Pointe from Solstice Senior Living. His extensive background in senior living operations is bolstered by a niche specialty in memory care, holding certifications as a Virtual Dementia Presenter, Best Friends Approach trainer, and Alzheimer’s Association Dementia CARES practitioner. Mr. Jackson also obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Murray State University. In his free time, Mr. Jackson enjoys spending quality time with his wife and daughters in the great outdoors and traveling the country.
