Hamilton County 4-H will hold a donations drop-off day to benefit the Humane Educational Society of Chattanooga on Friday from noon to 8 p.m. in the parking lot of the Hamilton County Extension Office. The public is invited to drop off items to benefit the Humane Educational Society of Chattanooga during this event.
According to Ashleigh Horner, volunteer services manager for the Humane Educational Society of Chattanooga, items particularly needed at present include canned chicken, canned tuna and canned salmon, as well as chicken and turkey baby food for foster puppies and kittens (make sure it doesn’t contain garlic), and towels and smaller fleece blankets. She also said that by going to the Humane Society website, you can find the Humane Society’s Amazon wish list and order items from home that the Humane Society needs.
The UT-TSU Extension Hamilton County Office is at 6183 Adamson Cir. in Chattanooga, next door to the Hamilton County Tag & Title Office and Polly Claire’s Tearoom, off Bonny Oaks Drive.
