U.S. Air Force Veteran Was Retired Field Service Engineer With Honeywell

Albert Norman Leckie, 81, passed away on April 3, 2021. 

 

Albert was a veteran, having served in the United States Air Force.  He was a retired field service engineer, employed with Honeywell for over 35 years.  Albert was of the Christian faith, and a devoted family man.  He loved to joke around and had a great sense of humor.  He was also an avid animal lover and will be dearly missed, by one animal in particular named Izzy, by his family, and by all who knew him.    

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Audie Leckie, and son, Robert Leckie.

 

Albert is survived by his wife of 61 years, Tressie Leckie; sons, Bert (Rhonda) Leckie and Gary (Tina) Leckie; daughter, Paula (Dale) Faulkner; sister, Bettie Smith; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, as well as many friends.

 

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 7, at 2 p.m. at Chattanooga National Cemetery where Albert will be laid to rest with military honors.
