After nearly 14 months of being closed to the general public, The Coker Museum reopened for tours on May 15.
Regular hours are Monday – Friday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. This Saturday, during the Memorial Day holiday weekend, the museum will be opened from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. The museum will be closed Monday for Memorial Day.
"The public is invited to come experience a grand display of automotive history at The Coker Museum in downtown Chattanooga," officials said. "With over 100 vintage cars, hot rods, motorcycles, trucks, buses and even airplanes hanging overhead, there is something for everyone to enjoy. New vehicles have arrived in the last several months, including a 1911 Pierce Arrow."
Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for children ages five to 12, and free for children four and under. Get tickets online at www.cokermuseum.com/gettickets.
The Coker Museum at Honest Charley Speed Shop is located at 1309 Chestnut St. just across from the convention center and two blocks from Main Street.
