The Strand Salon will celebrate their new location in the Chattanooga River Rock building on Friday, June 20 during their “Strand By Me” pet adoption and open house. This event, in conjunction with the Humane Educational Society, will showcase mini salon and beauty services, a silent auction, pet photo opportunities and adoptable pups to meet and greet.
“We are excited to open the doors to our gorgeous new salon, while encouraging others to open their hearts to animals in need,” said Strand Salon Owner Rachel McCoy.
“While I and our stylists love all things beauty and hair, we also care deeply for animals and giving back to our community. This event really has the best of both worlds.”
Strand By Me will run from 5-8 p.m. at 375 Cherry Street. Salon services such as hair braiding, tinsel and hot tool styling will be available, along with chair massages, a featured tattoo artist, permanent jewelry artisans and more - all donating a percentage of sales to HES.
Ms. McCoy added, “Our salon will have so many services to choose from, adorable pets, snacks, drinks and good vibes. We hope to have a big turnout and help a great organization.”
