Welder At Heatec Loved His Motorcycle

Kenton “Kent” "Sweet Kentucky” Womack, 49, of Ringgold passed away Monday, July 12, 2021 at a local hospital.

 Kent was a lifelong resident of Catoosa and Walker Counties.  He worked as a welder at Heatec with 19 years of service.  Kent loved his family, riding his motorcycle, and spending time in his garage where he enjoyed hanging out and working on cars or anything else that needed to be fixed.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Bill Womack; step-father, Don Sutton; and maternal grandmother, Gladys Thomas.

Survivors include his daughter, Brittany Womack; mother, Gretchen Sutton; sister, Pam (Lynn) Crofts; grandson, Jayk Couch; girlfriend, Amanda Shull; two nieces, Holly Stuart and Heather Wooten; and several great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel.

Interment will follow in the Lakewood South Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends Sunday From 4-8 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, Rossville, GA.
