Girl Scouts Hold Open House To Celebrate New Leadership Center

The Girl Scouts of the Southern Appalachians will hold an open house to celebrate the new location for the Girl Scout Leadership Center of the Tennessee Valley & North Georgia. The public is invited to tour the new location from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 3 at 6431 Bonny Oaks Dr. in Chattanooga.

“We are very excited about our new location,” said Cindee McBride, director of the Tennessee Valley and North Georgia Region. “The larger space will allow us to hold even more enriching activities for Girl Scouts and the ample parking will be a great convenience to our visitors. We hope the community can stop by and see our expanded center.” 

Below are some upcoming activities sponsored by the Girl Scouts of the Southern Appalachians:

Girl Scout Night at the Chattanooga Lookouts
Date:  Wednesday, Aug. 4 at 7:15 p.m.
Fans will receive a complimentary box of Girl Scout cookies at the end of the game

Learning Center Saturday - Bring a friend and make a bracelet 
Date: Thursday, Aug 7, 10 a.m.-noon 

"Come join us at our new location. We will be making Friendship Bracelets. If Girl Scouts bring a friend, you will get a patch," officials said.
