Hill, Andrew "Andy" (Rock Spring)

Andrew “Andy” Hill, of Rock Spring, passed away in the early morning of July 28, 2021, after a three year battle with cancer. He was born Nov. 16, 1958, in Hamilton County to the late Chester H. and Eula Lowraine Hindman Hill, both of Red Bank. He was an automotive mechanic since his teenage years and was a former Loomis employee for 19 years. He was a family man and loved being surrounded by those he loved. He was a member of the Church of God faith and grew up in the Neighborhood Chapel Church of God, where he was a member until its closing. He most recently had been attending Ridgeline Church of God in East Ridge.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Jeana Duncan Hill, of Rock Spring; his daughter, Bonnie (Adam) Nash, of Swainsboro, Ga.; his two sons, Austin Lee and Steven Andrew, both of Rock Spring; his grandson, Oliver Nash, of Swainsboro; siblings, Barbara Jane (Bob) Brewer, of Red Bank, Billy Ray (Pam), of Birchwood, and James Howard, of Red Bank; and many nieces and nephews. 

He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, George Edwin, of Chattanooga, Shirley Jean Walker, of Red Bank, June Estelle Moore, of Fort Oglethorpe and Sharon Paulette Shell of Dayton.

A memorial service will be held on Aug. 14; place and time will be announced at a later date.
