Lillie Mantooth
Lillie Mantooth, 93, a resident of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, September 16, 2021 in Cleveland.
She was a member of Valley View Baptist Church. She retired from Consauga River Lumber Co. as office manager and bookkeeper. Her hobbies were vegetable and flower gardening. Her passion was working and ministering at the Valley View Food Bank serving others. Her pride was her family. She was married more than 50 years to Herschel Mantooth before his death in 1998.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herschel Mantooth; sister, Inez Frady (Olen); two brothers, Gene Mikel and LC Mikel; half- brothers, Ed Trailor, Charlie, Frank and Minnie Mikel; and mother and father, Mary L. Albritton and Louis Elbert Mikel.
She is survived by son, Steven D Mantooth (Belinda) of Ocoee, TN; daughter, Phyllis Brewer (Frank Sr.) Farragut, TN; grandchildren, Michael Dylan Mantooth (Catherine), Kirk Steven Mantooth (Amanda), Christopher J Schoate (Lauren), Kevin Brewer (Jennifer), and Frank Brewer Jr. (Vickie); and great-grandchildren, Lillie J. Mantooth, Moses E. Schoate, Anna Schoate, Aubrey Brewer, Dalton Brewer, Madison Brewer, Jack Brewer and Will Brewer.
Family will receive friends from 12-2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 19, at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home, 3000 Ralph Buckner Blvd. Cleveland, Tn.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. at the same location. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Garden, 7180 North Lee Hwy, Cleveland, after the funeral.
