Lori Orr Stansell, 59, unexpectedly passed away on September 16, 2021, in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Lori was born in Rossville, and resided in Chattanooga, after a brief time living in Perdido Key Beach, Fl. She graduated from Rossville High School in 1980 and obtained a BS in Business Administration from Brenau University in 1984 where she was an active member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority.  She worked for GT Distributors before moving to the beach and upon returning to Chattanooga she became a realtor with Keller Williams, which was a passion she had always wanted to follow. 

Lori was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, John Kenneth “Ken” Stansell, Jr., and her parents, William James Orr “Bill” and Charlotte Ray Orr.

Lori is survived by her sons, Trey Stansell (Lindsay) of Signal Mountain, and Will Stansell (Paloma) of Chattanooga, brother, Jim Orr (DeeDee) of Georgetown, Tx.; two nieces, Mary Orr of Houston, and Katie Orr of Conroe, Tx. Lori is also survived by her first grandchild, Amelia Stansell of Signal Mountain.  Also, we can’t forget about her beloved dog and companion Josh.

She is beloved by many, many friends from around the world from Scotland to Texas and countless places in between.

A visitation will be held on September 23, outside at Hamilton Memorial Gardens from 12-3 p.m. with a private memorial service for family to follow at 5401 TN-153, Hixson, Tn. 37343.

Facial coverings and social distancing are requested by the family members.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lana’s Love Foundation or the 100 Club of Central Texas.
