CDOT Announces Upcoming Road Construction Closures

The Chattanooga Division of Transportation announces the following upcoming road closures: 
 
300 Oak Street
 
Oak Street between Memorial Street and Lindsay Street will be closed Monday, Sept. 27 at 3 p.m. until Wednesday, Sept. 29 at 5 a.m. for loading/unloading of materials for Memorial Auditorium. Detours will be posted.

W. 3rd Street & Chestnut Street
 
The intersection of W. 3rd Street and Chestnut Street will be closed Monday, Sept. 27 at noon for an estimated four weeks. Rebuilding the intersection is the first step prior to milling and paving of Chestnut Street. Detours will be posted.

8600 Igou Gap Road
 
Igou Gap Road in the 8600 block will be closed Monday, Sept. 27 through Wednesday, Sept. 29 for a water main replacement. Detours will be posted.

Union Avenue
 
Union Avenue between S. Orchard Knob Avenue and S. Beech Street will be closed Thursday, Sept. 30 from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. for a crane lift.  Detours will be posted.
