Chattanooga's Pride Event Was A Fabulous Celebration - And Response (2)

  • Monday, October 3, 2022

Well done to all involved in yesterday’s fabulous celebration. A fun time was had by all.

The weather was perfect and everyone showed love and respect.

Special thanks to the churches represented there as well. We had Unitarian Universalist, Grace Episcopal Church, Northside Presbyterian and Unity of Chattanooga.

You seem proud to mention some “churches” that attended a festival celebrating the deviation from God ordained parameters of sex.  Don’t let those wolves in sheep clothing deceive you.
God's Word tells us that even Satan himself will appear as an angel of light.

God will not be mocked. He hates all sin - especially sexual sins. It is God who sets the parameters of sex, not man.

Be wise and repent, fear God. Read His Word and live.

I'm sure the rainbow event was beautiful, spectacular even. I watched excerpts of it on the evening news. If I'd known about it I'd like to have attended. Watching the excerpts on the evening news brought back a fond memory of when I was invited by one of my daughter's old high school friends many years ago to watch my first drag-performance. All her friends, gay and straight, often referred to me as Ma or Mama. I was treated like royalty at the show and even had a song dedicated to me. I think it was Whitney Houston originally sung and written by Dolly Parton "I will always love you."

Ignore 'you know you', the first to respond, right below your opinion piece. Also thank you for your service, Darlene Rochelle, USN Retired. I come from a long line of military men and women who've served the country and served it well. Surely, the world has been made a much better place because of people like you in it.

"Shall I ask the brave soldier, who fights by my side
In the cause of mankind, if our creeds agree!
Shall I give up the friend I have valued and tried,
If he kneel not before the same altar with me."~~Thomas Moore (1779-1882)-Come, Send Round The Wine
