Thurman Lee Woods, 75, of Jasper, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022.
He proudly served in the U. S. Army in the Vietnam War. He was born to the late Richard Woods and Margie Satterfield Woods on October 18, 1947. He was married to his wife of 50 years Darlene Inman Woods.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Woods; mother, Margie Satterfield Woods; brother, James Woods and sister, Donna Taylor.
He is survived by his wife, Darlene Inman Woods; son, Bobby Woods; sisters, Linda Presley, Dolores Presley; brother-in-law, and sister-in-law, Burney and Kay Inman, niece, Keisha and her family; special families, The Groom’s and the Neeley’s and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Monday, Nov. 28, from 9-10:45 a.m. CST.
Funeral services are on Monday, Nov. 28, at 10:45 a.m. CST in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee with Brother Billy Watters officiating.
Burial will be at the Chattanooga National Cemetery in Chattanooga, Tennessee with military honors.
Pallbearers are Caden Lockhart, Larry Dale Lockhart, Trent Young and Brent Ullig.
