Jimmy Owens, the Newport (Tn.) Nightmare, was just that Saturday night at All-Tech Speedway in Central Florida. The O-Show in his # 20 Reece Monument/Ramirez Motorsports Rocket racecar showed them how its done by winning a four car tussle worth $15,000 from the Lucas Oil Dirt Late Model series.
Battling defending series champ Tim McCreadie of New York and red hot Devin Moran of Ohio, Owens led the final eight laps of the 50 lap General Tire WinterNationals. T-Mac, Georgia's Jonathan Davenport, Moran and Thursday's winner Brandon Shepard of Illinois followed Owens under the checkers.
Sunday is a travel day for race teams headed south to Tampa for East Bay Raceway Park's week of WinterNationals action culminating next Saturday night before the Daytona 500 Sunday.
