Earlier this week I had the honor of voting for my good friend and colleague, Mike Dumitru, for Hamilton County Circuit Court Judge. I have known Mike since he was a law student, and in my 20 years of practicing law, I have met few people who are truly the “whole package” like Mike is.
Mike is both highly intelligent and a formidable strategic thinker, gifts that he has used to become one of the best lawyers with whom I have worked. Not only is he an experienced litigator who is comfortable in the courtroom, but he also is collaborative and creative in reaching solutions to legal issues. While Mike is a strong advocate for his clients, he also listens to opposing viewpoints and willingly considers others’ perspectives. His combination of skill, education, compassion and fairness create the ideal temperament to hold the office of Circuit Court Judge. Mike and I don’t always agree on every issue, but I know from experience that he will listen intently to all who appear in his courtroom, consider differing positions, and reach conclusions that will correctly and fairly apply the law.
We need more people of Mike’s caliber and class in public office.
I hope that you will vote in the Republican Primary for Mike Dumitru to be the next judge of Hamilton County Circuit Court Division II. He will serve all citizens of Hamilton County with dignity, respect and integrity.
