Robert J. "Bob" Montgomery, 87, of Cleveland, formerly Liverpool, NY, passed peacefully after a lengthy illness on August 12, 2022. Robert was born in Terre Haute, In. to Mary Catherine and Joseph Montgomery. He graduated from Wiley High School in Terre Haute.
He worked in a supervisory role at A&P in Terre Haute, and Horseheads, NY before relocating to Liverpool, NY, where he continued in management with Anheuser-Busch, Baldwinsville, NY until his retirement.
Bob was an avid golfer with a passion for all sports, enjoyed travel and especially loved chocolate.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Catherine and Joseph, and his wife, Nancy King Montgomery.
Robert is survived by his daughters, Terri J. Montgomery, Vicki M. Golden (husband, Michael), Becki L. Hart-Brown (husband, Shannon) and son Joshua Montgomery (wife, Miranda); and several step children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family will have a private celebration of life at a later date.
Final arrangments are being handled by Companion Funeral and Cremation Service, Cleveland Chapel.
