Anita Bibbs Wilson, 81, passed away on August 17, 2022, in Chattanooga.

She was born in Scottsboro, AL, to James Snodgrass and Annie Lockhart Dillard. Anita attended Howard High School, graduating in the class of 1959. She furthered her education by attending Chattanooga State Technical Community College, and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Anita was previously employed at Chattanooga State Technical College, where she taught data processing, and she retired from National Posters. She held membership in the Howard High Alumni Association and received its award for Alumni Achievement.

Anita was a member of Stanley United Methodist Church where she served faithfully in the Women’s Ministry, senior choir, and hospitality staff. She loved her church and church family.
