Judy Boyd Webster, 72, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 31, 2022. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving friends and family.

Judy was born in Bethesda, Md., on March 7, 1950. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clayton McCoy Boyd and Barbara Hilda (Cookson) Boyd, her cousin and lifelong friend, Sheryal Sandoval, and many other beloved family members.

While we are heartbroken, we know that she is soaring high with the angels above. Anyone who knew Judy, knew that she loved her family selflessly and fiercely. She loved watching her grandsons play ball, and she was so proud of the women her granddaughters have become. Judy’s daughters were her biggest heroes. She was highly regarded in the community and was a moral compass for anyone who knew her. Friends, family, and colleagues never hesitated to come to Judy when faced with any dilemma, because they knew she would point them in the direction that was right and good. Judy was loved by everyone who met her. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, honesty, and overall greatness. She will be missed eternally by so many.

One of Judy’s biggest passions, besides her family, was her real estate career which spanned over 35 years. She was a pioneer for women in commercial real estate and was highly regarded in her career and her community.

Survivors include, her two daughters, Cindy Burnette Dodson (Jeff) and Laura Webster Norman; Five grandchildren, Georgiana Elise Dodson (Dino Ahmetovic), Gwyneth Gray Dodson (Jessica Adams), William Crew, Clayton Tag, and Fielder Vanderford Norman. Three brothers, Clayton, Paul, and Bruce Boyd as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, Aug. 4, at 11 a.m. at Heritage Chapel with Pastor David Hall officiating.
