Betsy Brown To Speak At Scenic City Women’s Network Luncheon On Sept. 22

Scenic City Women’s Network announced that Betsy Brown, chief executive officer of Pendleton Square Trust Company, will be the guest speaker for the SCWN Marketplace Luncheon on Sept. 22, at noon, at Mountain City Club, 729 Chestnut St. A delicious plated menu and refreshments will be served.

 

Ms. Brown is the CEO of Pendleton Square Trust Company. In this role, she leads a team serving families and their advisors to deliver trust administration services as well as legacy plans.

Prior to founding Pendleton Square, she worked for over 20 years in Private Banking and Corporate and Investment Banking divisions of large banks. Ms. Brown is a partner in The JumpFund, an angel investment fund dedicated to investing in female-led businesses in the Southeast.

 

Ms. Brown earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in East Asian Studies from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA. She also holds an MBA from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Ga. In addition to her professional responsibilities, Ms. Brown serves as a trustee of The Generosity Trust, Bible in the Schools, and The University of Chattanooga Foundation.

 

Ms. Brown is a former board member of Girls Preparatory School, The AIM Center and Reflection Riding. She is also a member of the Rotary Club of Chattanooga, the Estate Planning Council of Chattanooga, and the Southeastern Family Office Forum. Ms. Brown is a member of Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church and lives on Signal Mountain with her husband and three active children. She also served as Superintendent of The Little Brown Church this summer.
