Julia Waldo, 53, of Spring City, died on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at the Rhea County Medical Center. 

She was born on February 15, 1969 and has been a lifelong resident of this area. Julia attended Spring City High School and the Spring City Church of God. She worked as a CNA at the Rockwood Signature Healthcare for several years. Julia loved taking care of senior citizens and helping others. She enjoyed crafts and decorating her home.

Julia was preceded in death by her father Joe Waldo, her brother Robert Loden and her grandparents John and Aileen Waldo and Mary Ruth and Lloyd Loden.

Survivors include her son Scottie Rhear of Spring City, her parents Oscar and Shirley McFalls Jr of Spring City, her brothers Johnny, Mickey and Jeff Loden all of Spring City and her Siberian Huskey “Shaggy”.

Funeral services will be Monday at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. Lawrence Waller and Rev. Robert Hurd officiating. Interment will follow in the Glen Alice Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 1-3 p.m. at Vaughn Funeral Home.
