Bueford Genter
Bueford Dowling Genter, Jr., 75, of Rossville, Ga. was called home on Saturday, January 28, 2023.
He was born to the late Bueford Dowling Genter, Sr. and Lucille Williams on April 16, 1947. He served in the United States Marine Corp for four years. Bueford was a storyteller with true unbelievable stories! He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He enjoyed time spent with his friends. He lived his life to the fullest.
Bueford was preceded in death by his father, Bueford Dowling Genter, Sr., mother, Myrtle Lucille Williams, wife, Peggy E. Genter; brothers, David Williams and George Genter.
He leaves his memories to his sons, Butch (Elizabeth) Genter, J. D. (Kim) Genter, Fred (Amber) Genter; sisters-in-law, June Williams, Annie Genter; grandchildren, Dakota (Emili) Genter, Brodie Genter, Brandon (Hilary) Wilson, Micah Genter, Reece Genter, Brittany Slatton, Trey Hill, Logan Genter, Bradley Genter, Sully Genter, Avery Genter; great grandchildren, Brantley and Coralynn Genter, Maverick Slatton and Camille Slatton, Dutton Wilson and Saylor Hill.
A Celebration of Life will be on Monday, Feb. 6, from 1-3 p.m. ET with a service beginning at 3 p.m. Pastor Steve Wells will be officiating at Mission Glen Baptist Church, 2915 Happy Valley Road, Rossville, Ga. 30741.
Interment will be at a later date at Chattanooga National Cemetery, Chattanooga, Tn.
