Volkswagen Supplier Thyssenkrupp Closing Chattanooga Facilities; 156 Employees Affected

Thyssenkrupp, a Volkswagen supplier, said it will be permanently closing its Chattanooga facility on Volkswagen Drive.

In a filing with the state, the firm said worker separations would begin May 6 and be completed by May 20.

The total number of affected employees is 156.
