Carl Henry “Hank” Hale, III, 16, of Signal Mountain, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2023.

Hank was born in Chattanooga, on June 21, 2006, to Carl Henry “Hank” Hale II, and Jean Berry Hale. He enjoyed listening to music, gaming, and cooking. Hank loved spending time with his friends. He was a member of the Signal Mountain United Methodist Church, and attended Signal Mountain High School. Hank was a former member of the Signal Mountain High School Band, and the wrestling team. He loved animals, and had named all of the family’s pets.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Carl and Katheryn Hale; maternal grandparents, Jack and Elizabeth Berry; an aunt, Diane Hawkes, and an uncle, Bobby Jacob.

Surviving are his parents, Hank and Jean Hale; twin brother, Jack Hale, sister, Katheryn Hale; aunts, and uncles, Susan McCormick (Pat), Janice Taylor (Phil), Janet Childrey (Tim), David Berry, and Sharon Jacob; and several cousins.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, March 26, at 3:30 p.m. at the Signal Mountain United Methodist Church, 3419 Taft Highway, Signal Mountain, Tn.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:30 p.m.until the hour of the service at the church.
