Agnes Louise Kirkpatrick Breeding, 76, of Signal Mountain, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2023.

Agnes was born in Hendersonville, Tennessee on April 5, 1946, and graduated from Hendersonville High School in 1964. She was captain of the Hendersonville Lady Commandos basketball team, playing in the 1964 State Tournament. Agnes was married to her husband of over 50 years, Charlie, in San Diego, California in 1972. She was a longtime member of St. Augustine Catholic Church. An avid gardener, Agnes tended over 300 day lilies. Agnes was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Marie Kirkpatrick.

Surviving are her husband, Charlie Breeding; daughter, Emily (Brian) Jones; grandchildren, Linus Jones and Louise Jones; brother, Tommy (Lola) Kirkpatrick; sister, Elaine Beeler; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 29, in the funeral home chapel at noon (EST).

Mrs. Breeding will be laid to rest at Chattanooga Memorial Park in Red Bank, Tn..

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 from 4-7 p.m. and on Wednesday, March 29, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. prior to the funeral service in the chapel.
