Nancy Evelyn Coombes, 69, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023.

Mrs. Coombes was born in Lake City, Tn., on Sept. 22, 1953, the daughter of the late Harvey Williams and Leona Hatmaker Williams. She enjoyed reading, diet cokes, western movies, shopping, and traveling with her family.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Coombes was preceded in death by three siblings, Wanda Reynolds, Betsy Hegler, and Marvin Williams.

Survivors include her husband, Kevin Coombes, to whom she was married on April 15th, 1989; two sons, Ryan Coombes and Austin Coombes (Lane); two brothers, Harvey “H.L.” Williams and Mark Williams (Sandra); and sister, Patricia Andel (Richard).

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, March 31, a6 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be Friday from 4 until 6 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 7625 Hamilton Park Dr. # 6, Chattanooga, Tn. 37421.
