Darrell Davis
Darrell Kirkland Davis, 63 of South Pittsburg, Tennessee, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 24, 2023.
Darrell was a founding and a faithful member of Valley of Praise Church in South Pittsburg, Tennessee. Darrell was married to his high school sweetheart and love of his life Debbie Davis for 42 1/2 years.
Darrell loved all things motorcycle and proudly served this region as AMA Congressman for two terms.
Darrell worked in several financial institutions before becoming the proud owner and agent of Davis Wells Insurance in Jasper, Tn.
Darrell was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Lottie Davis, Lawrence and Sarah Simmons; father-in-law, Donnie R. McNeece and father, Amos C. Davis.
Darrell leaves his memories to his wife, Debbie; daughter, Brittney (Brandon) Watley; grandchildren, Dominic, Tionna, Veronica and John Watley; mother, Marian Davis; mother-in-law, Mary McNeece; brother-in-law, Nathan McNeece; sisters-in-law, Dianna (Wayne) Meeks, Kathy (John E.) Campbell; nephews, Joshua Chambers, Daniel Chambers, Matthew Campbell, Jamie Meeks, Jacob Meeks, Donnie McNeece; several great nieces, nephews, cousins, his sweet Shih Tzu, Suzuki (Zuki), extended family at Davis Wells Insurance and ABC Children’s Learning Center.
Visitation is on Tuesday, March 28, from 5-8 p.m. CST and on Wednesday, March 29, from 10-11 a.m. CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tn.
A memorial service will be on Wednesday, March 29, at 11 a.m. CST in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home with Pastor Debbie Davis officiating.
