Bill Lee Beagan, 56, of Chickamauga, Georgia, entered the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, March 25, 2023, after a valiant seven-year battle with Multiple Myeloma.

Bill was born on May 28, 1966, in Warren, Mi., to William and Bettie Beagan of Rossville, Ga. He was the youngest of their three living children and was known by many as “Big Shot.” He moved to Georgia with his family when he was 14 and attended Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe High School through the 12th grade. He met the love of his life when he was just 14, and seven short years later they were married on October 10, 1987 and together they built a beautiful life.

He loved cars - working on them, driving them, racing them, teaching his son to work on them and to race them too. He started working on engines as a kid with his brother and never stopped. He could diagnose a car problem over the phone and was right nearly every time.

Bill was many things to many people - a Christian, an honest mechanic, a hunting or fishing buddy, a friend, a brother, an uncle, but the roles that brought him the most joy were being a husband, a father, and a Papa. Through the almost 40 years he was a mechanic, he helped so many people and touched so many lives with the kind, honest, and hard work that he was known for. His love for cars, hunting, racing, and fishing was surpassed by only two things, his Savior and his family.

Bill was loved by so many. His kind heart, gentle spirit, unmatched work ethic, positive attitude in the midst of some of life’s greatest challenges will echo in eternity in the lives he has touched. Bill is home now. He fought the good fight, he finished the race, and he kept the faith.

Bill was reunited in heaven with his Mother, Bettie Lou Beagan (Lewis); his infant brother, Matthew Beagan; and his first unborn child.

He is survived by his father William Beagan, his loving wife of 35 years Jordana Lee Beagan (Miller), Daughter Shalane (Adam) Lamb, Son Joshua (Suzannah) Beagan, six grandchildren; Catherine, Grady, Barrett, Billie Mae, Evelyn, and Lea, Brother Dan (Rhonda) Beagan, and Sister Lori (Brad) Miller, and many nieces and nephews that were dear to his heart.

Funeral service is on Saturday, April 1, at 10 a.m. at Covenant Life Worship Center, 7001 Lafayette Road, Chickamauga, Ga. 30707.
