Patricia R. Morgan, 69, of Trenton, went home to be with her Lord on March 29, 2023, and received the perfect and complete healing.
Pat was the baby of 13 children born to the late Rich & Jesse Morgan on Sept. 2, 1953. She was a member of the East Brow Community Church, had a servant’s heart and was always ready to help, always giving more than she could ever take. She had the gift of service and had spent the last 45 years of her life being a second mother and grandmother to her nieces & nephews…that was what she loved to do, although she didn’t have to! Pat was a mother by nature and could always find “a needle in the hay stack,” and did many, many times. (The FBI could have used her talents!) Pat remained 29 years old, never turning another year!
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Malcolm Melvin, Troy, Talmage, Leonard, James and Leon; sisters, Katherine, Vanita Ann, Wanda Faye and Jane; and grandchildren, Madi Dickerson & Judah Witt.
Survivors include her brothers, Malcolm (Wanda) Morgan and Roy (Janice) Morgan; “children,” nieces & nephews, Shelly (Dan) Kesler, Carla Morgan Dickerson, Corey (Jeremy) Witt and Dwaine (Lacey) Morgan; “grandchildren,” great-nieces & nephews, Jacob Kesler, Kayleigh, Hunter, Cooper, Dickerson, Bailey, Bryson, Jude Witt, Avery Smith; and other nieces & nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 1 at 11:30 a.m. CST at East Brow Community Church, with Brother Charles Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until the service hour. Interment will be held at a later date at Brown’s Gap Cemetery. Online condolences may be shared at ryanfuneralhome.net.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to East Brow Community Church.
Arrangements are under the care of Ryan Funeral Home & Crematory, Trenton.
