John Robinson Tyler Jr., 57, of Cleveland, passed away on March 28, 2023. He was born on Dec. 24, 1965 in Hartford, CT. John was an outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing and four-wheeling on his Grump’s Adventure Days. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and watching the Tennessee Vols play. John also was a regular for his lunches at Pokey’s. Above all, he loved his family and spending time with them.
He is preceded in death by his son, Robie Tyler.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his son Ross Tyler (Taylor); mother, Nancy Tyler; father, John Robinson Tyler, Sr. (Linda); siblings, Chris Tyler (Diane Dunn) and Tammy Kaminski (Klay); and grandchildren, Reed Tyler, Teegan Browder, Rhett Tyler and Taisleigh Tyler.
John’s family will receive friends from 1-5 p.m. on Saturday, April 1 at First Baptist Church Cleveland. A celebration of John’s life will be held at 5 p.m. He will be laid to rest with a graveside service at 11 a.m. on Monday April 3 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. A funeral procession will leave Companion Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. Monday morning.
