Security Awareness And Violence Prevention Is Topic For May’s North Chattanooga Chamber Council Meeting

Mark Arras, an independent physical security consultant working in Chattanooga’s Tri-state area, will be the featured speaker at the North Chattanooga Chamber Council meeting in May. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 2 from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Hamilton County Business Development Center at 100 Cherokee Blvd. on the Northshore.
 
Mr. Arras, a certified physical security professional by ASIS, International, is experienced in conducting vulnerability and risk assessments for various businesses, government agencies and critical infrastructure facilities.
Additionally, he has extensive training and experience with crime prevention through environmental design, and has worked as a chief security officer, a career law enforcement officer and as a soldier in the U.S. Army.  
 
Council meeting attendees will have the opportunity to network with fellow members beginning at 11:30 a.m., with the meeting beginning at noon and the program to follow. Lunch is available for $12 per person. To RSVP, visit the Chattanooga Chamber North Council page on Facebook or Eventbrite.
