Albert Carroll "A.C." Thomas
Albert Carroll "A.C." Thomas passed away on Friday, April 28, 2023, at the age of 96.
He was born in Chattanooga, on Jan. 21, 1927. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in both World War II and the Korean War. A.C. retired from Southern Products, after 35 years of service. In addition to being a dedicated and loving father, Carroll also loved the Tennessee Vols. Throughout his life, he held an unwavering faith in God, which he shared with those who surrounded him, also attending Victory Church.
Carroll joins his wife of 61 years, Anna Myatt Thomas, daughter Debbie Thomas Harbin, and his parents, William Albert and Cora Mae Thomas in Heaven. He is survived by daughters, Diane (Ira) Stotts of Chickamauga, GA and Denise (Mike) Roach of Chattanooga, TN; Five grandchildren, Michael (Tiffany) Cason, Kelly (Rocco) Carpenter, Jenifer Duncan, Constance Duncan, and Keith Stotts; Six great-grandchildren, Blake, Hailey, Chase, Tanner, Parker, and Lucas; One great-great-grandchild, McKinley.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Friday, May 5, at Heritage Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at the Chattanooga National Cemetery the same day at 1 p.m.
