The Puppy Cut Pet Salon Opens In Red Bank

  • Thursday, June 29, 2023

Tiffany Bratton and Sasha Posada officially opened the doors in May to their new business, The Puppy Cut, LLC, in Red Bank. The new pet salon, at 3807 B Dayton Boulevard, prides itself on offering their customers a stress-free environment with the dog’s comfort always coming first.

Opening a grooming salon seemed like a natural move for the two ladies that had spent most of their lives in the pet grooming business. Ms. Bratton’s family bred and showed champion German Shepherds, offering her opportunities to travel, groom, and show her dogs. Ms. Posada volunteered at the Humane Educational Society as a senior at Red Bank High School. Both women started their grooming careers in 2006 while working together at a corporate pet store, quickly became best friends. The pair attended a pet grooming academy in Nashville and afterwards, continued to remain eager to learn more about the ever-changing grooming industry. Their experiences and love of pups and the industry made opening their own business together a natural move.

“We’ve been there for each other for all of our major adult life changes, and when we both found ourselves wondering what our next career move would be, this salon was a no brainer,” said Ms. Posada. “We complement each other’s strengths and weaknesses, and if one of us can’t do something, the other can – or we figure it out. It is definitely a lifestyle for us.”

The decision to open The Puppy Cut, LLC in Red Bank came easy as the ladies really liked the growth they were seeing in Red Bank as well as its proximity to the communities in the Chattanooga area. They found a property owner who had just recently purchased a building and was ready to breathe life back into it - and was willing to build to their needs. The women also stated that the City of Red Bank was incredibly easy to work with when doing research for licensing and permits.

The Puppy Cut, LLC opts for free roam as much as possible and avoids using kennels when they can. Pups have an exercise pen or can hang out at the desk area while waiting on their parents to pick them up. The ladies offer all-inclusive services and use premium show dog quality shampoos and conditioners. Tiffany and Sasha believe that a quality haircut is the best business card and every pup that leaves their shop is a reflection of their work and reputation.

The Puppy Cut, LLC is planning an end of the summer pup party in mid to late August. For more information about the salon, along with photos of some of their recent customers, go to their Facebook page @ThePuppyCutLLC or call 423 980-7877.
