Why I'm Running For City Council

  • Thursday, June 8, 2023

The quality of life is going down in Chattanooga and in District 1 because greedy vulture capitalists and developers from New York are buying up property and then neglecting it.

Traffic increases as Mother Nature weeps, air pollution is giving our kids asthma and other breathing ailments and rent prices and overall cost of living continues to skyrocket.

The scenic city is becoming less scenic as more and more iconic restaurants like Nikki’s are demolished and beautiful trees from the 18th century are bulldozed and sold as lumber so some fat cats can exploit the working class by building 4 story eye sores right on top of the road.

Who is going to protect the hard working families surviving paycheck to paycheck? With inflation out of control our fellow citizens can barely afford gas and groceries so the cost of an attorney to protect our human rights seems out of reach.

I have no problem getting my hands dirty and fighting in the trenches against the establishment machine.  Join our movement to put in new leaders and advocates on Mountain Creek Road, in Lookout Valley and all of District One.

A definition of insanity is to do the same thing over and over again but expect different results.  So why re-elect the same person time and time again when he has failed repeatedly to champion middle class and hardworking working poor American families who are the majority of his constituents.

The sad truth is most Chattanoogans are one medical emergency away from being broke.  Why should we continue to allow Wall Street to play us like fools and squeeze us dry while polluting our community?  Let’s take back what is rightfully ours.

I grew up in New York and it takes a wolf to catch a wolf.  I will step in and stop these yuppies from over developing our land that has caused landslides that destroyed a local business and polluted our rivers and water supply.   While these slumlords were teabagging each other in fraternity initiations, I was a U.S Marine and federal contractor defending our nation against terrorism.

I will defend our senior citizens.  My dad, an elderly Vietnam veteran in District 1, was recently tricked into giving his hard earned money to scammers.  This is not an isolated incident as many scammers are pretending to be from banks or law enforcement agencies and are targeting our senior citizens to mercilessly rip them off.

It is time that instead of kissing the butts of the rich and powerful that we have honor and integrity and hold them accountable.  I will demand a federal investigation into what happened to the missing 18 months of Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office dash cam footage that vanished into thin air.

It’s time to fight back.  You are either with us or against us.
