Imogene Woodard
Imogene Ramey Woodard, 89, of LaFayette, passed away on July 21, 2023.
She was of the Baptist faith and was a charter member of New Harvest Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Littie Wilson (Babe) and Pluma Stanfield; husbands, Clifford Ramey and Cecil Woodard; great-grandson, Zane Ramey; and several aunts and uncles.
She is survived by her son Michael (Sherri) Ramey; daughter, Kathy (Darrell) Asher; grandson, Michael Junebug (Melissa) Ramey; great-granddaughters, Casey (Kirby) Burns, Ashlie Ramey, Sarah Ramey; grandson, Arron Ramey; granddaughter, Jennifer Raines; great-grandsons Logan and Bentley Raines; great-great grandson, Clifford Hulse; grandson, Dan (Elizabeth) Ramey; great-granddaughters, Daniela and Laura Ramey.
Visitation will be on Monday, July 24, at Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home from 5-9 pm. The graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 25, at 2 p.m. in LaFayette Memory Gardens with Reverend Kenneth Jennings officiating and Reverend Jon Alverson offering the closing prayer.
Pallbearers are Michael Ramey, Arron Ramey, Kirby Burns, Brandon Raines, Logan Raines, Bentley Raines and Scott Whitlock.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New Harvest Baptist Church in her honor.
