Mullins, Jason Lee "Cajun" (Dalton)

Jason Lee "Cajun" Mullins, born March 26, 1985 in Monroe, La., passed away in Dalton on September 24, 2023.

Jason was a devoted husband, father, son and uncle.

Those left to cherish his memory include his adoring wife, Sarah; his sons, Maddox and Keegan; his daughter, Ella; his parents, Joseph and Kimberly; his sister, Carol Garrett; and his nephews, Nathaniel Garrett and Dylan Guin.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Hazel Mullins, and James and Elizabeth Carroll.

His appreciation for nature's beauty was evident through his love for outdoor activities, including hiking, kayaking and fishing. Jason blessed many with his handy skills, proving time and again that there was little he could not fix. He was always lending a hand to those in need, and was a remarkable example of generosity. His profound faith in God guided him, and the love for his children knew no bounds.

Jason's warm nature and deep care for others will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His spirit will forever be held dear in the hearts of those he's left behind.

The family will be receiving friends on Friday, Sept. 29 from 10 a.m.-noon, with the funeral service to follow at noon at Companion Funeral Home in Cleveland. He will be laid to rest following the service at Meigs Memorial Gardens in Decatur.
