Big Ridge Stays Unbeaten With Win At Fairyland

Raiders Stay In First Place In White With 456-268 Victory

It's still the ffirst week in the Chattanooga Area Swim League's 2025 season, but the Big Ridge Raiders are off to a roaring start with two wins to get started.

The Raiders defeated the Red Bank Gators at home on Monday, but took their victory party up Lookout Mountain on Thursday as they handed the Fairyland Flash their first loss of the season by an impressive final score of 456-268.

Quinn Young, Noah Keener, Evan Scharff and Eli Haupert were the leaders for Big Ridge with the maximum 19 points apiece while Blakely Martin was next with 18 and Liam Kilpatrick, Jade Skiba and Benji Wamuhiu with 17 each.

Frances Bohner was tops for the Flash with 19 points while Charlotte Koehl had 18 and Millie Elkins 17.

Other meet winners on Thursday included Red Bank, Calhoun and Dalton.

The Gators evened their record at 1-1 with a 467-291 win at Cumberland while the Blue Barracudas evened their record at 1-1 with a close 378-347 victory over the Ridgeside Dolphins. Dalton stayed unbeaten in the Red Division with a close 382-366 win at Cleveland against the Waterdogs.

Six meets are scheduled for Monday with the big one being Stuart Heights at Ooltewah. The Tidal Waves have had the upper hand in recent seasons, but the Sharks are capable competitors and could make it an interesting meet.
