Chambliss Welcomes 2 New Hires, Announces 1 Promotion

Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel, P.C. welcomes two new hires, Erin Donahue and Susan Jones, and announces the promotion of Jennifer Ball. Ms. Donahue will serve as the talent development coordinator, and Ms. Jones will support the labor and employment section as a paralegal. In addition, Ms. Ball was promoted to a paralegal in the litigation section.

With over five years of agency, executive, and corporate recruitment experience, Ms. Donahue will work closely with the director of talent and employee engagement to enhance and develop recruitment, talent retention, and employee engagement initiatives. She is dedicated to program management, process improvement, and fostering lasting, meaningful, and strategic partnerships with applicants, hiring managers and business leaders, said officials.

Ms. Donahue’s goal is to find top-quality talent that aligns with the goals and values of the firm. With a successful track record of recruiting and placing candidates in various roles in the U.S. and Canada, Ms. Donahue is adept at strategic and tactical sourcing and is committed to staying on top of industry and hiring trends, market data insight, and emerging technologies to enforce best practices. She graduated with a bachelor's degree from the University of Florida.

Ms. Jones has over 30 years of paralegal experience and knowledge to support Chambliss' labor and employment section. From assisting clients with litigation matters in state and federal courts to administrative proceedings before agencies such as the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the U.S. Department of Labor, she is well-versed in the intricacies of employment law.

Known for her meticulous attention to detail, Ms. Jones ensures attorneys are well-prepared for any challenge that may arise. She is committed to upholding the highest standards and brings a passion for the law and an unwavering dedication to excellence, while consistently demonstrating proficiency and reliability in client assistance, said officials. Ms. Jones has a bachelor's degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and an associate degree from Samford University.

As a previous legal assistant with 15 years of experience in the industry, Ms. Ball will assist Chambliss' litigation section by drafting pleadings, handling correspondence, conducting document reviews and production, maintaining effective communication with clients, and assisting the group's attorneys.

Prior to working at Chambliss, Ms. Ball served the Tennessee Department of Human Services in the child support division, where she managed administrative child support modifications, aided the juvenile court, participated in alternative dispute resolutions, and supported attorneys. This experience equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of the court system and the ability to navigate challenging situations with empathy for her clients. Ms. Ball received a bachelor's degree from UTC and is a member of the Tennessee Paralegal Association.
