It’s almost time for Bill and Linda Hullander’s January Red Back Hymnal Singing. This month’s event will be held at the Ridgedale Baptist Church, 1831 Hickory Valley Road.

Mr. Hullander said special guests will be the award winning Brown Family Southern Gospel group. “I’ve watched this family from the very beginning of their career and I'm certainly glad they want to return to Chattanooga. The family has a love for the hymns we grew up singing and I look forward to their leading us,” said Mr. Hullander.

Hamilton County Trustee Bill Hullander opens his farm the third Sunday of each month for friends to come from all around and sing the great ole hymns right out of the red back hymnal.

The singing will start at 6:00 and is free but a love offering will be taken. Doors will open at 5:30 and there’s plenty of parking.

Shelly Brown said the group looks forward to returning to Chattanooga and seeing all their friends. She released the following.

It’s truly a family affair when The Browns hit the stage with their music. The musical stylings of Adam, Michaela, and Andrew exude excitement on the stage and offer an experience to all who hear them. The Browns deliver the powerful message of the Gospel through word and song that engage audiences of all ages.

The Browns have been touring across the United States since the group began 22 years ago. The heralded group began on the local and state level and has expanded and grown into a national and international touring group.

The Browns received the prestigious honor of Top 10 Mixed Group of the Year and have been awarded the Top Horizon Group of the Year.

The group has just finished their newest recording, “BRAVE” as a StowTown Recording artist, with Dove Award winning producer, Wayne Haun. The Browns newest radio single “Take Me Back” is climbing the national charts.

In 2015 the family bought and restored a hundred-year-old historic building into a state-of-the-art live music theater in their hometown of Le Mars, Iowa. They have since added more buildings to the Browns Hospitality Group including a gift shop, event center buffet experience, and bed and breakfast. They welcome thousands of tourists and Brown music lovers to Le Mars each year.

From singing over 30 shows at the Americana Theatre in Branson, MO, to Dollywood Theme park stages, to singing on over 10 Royal Caribbean and Carnival cruise ships, this award winning family will inspire you with their close-knit family harmony and talent. The Browns love what they do, love each other, and the audiences to whom they sing!

Ridgedale Baptist Church pastor Dr. Doug Plumlee said he’s very excited about the hymn sing and welcomes everyone to an evening of Praising the Lord in song.
