Signal Mountain Police And Fire Department Offers Free Car Seat Safety Check On Oct. 12

  • Friday, October 4, 2024
The Signal Mountain Fire and Police Departments will be hosting a free Car Seat Safety Check on Saturday, Oct. 12, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Pruett’s Market, 1210 Taft Highway, Signal Mountain.
All one needs to bring is their child and current car seat.

This event is in support of National Child Passenger Safety Awareness and is a rescheduled date from our previous rained out event in September. The awareness focuses on the proper use of car safety seats for children.
The National campaign urges parents and caregivers to protect their child by making sure they secure them in the correct car seat for their age, height and weight.

Safe Journey will be joining both the Signal Mountain Police and Fire Department who will have certified child passenger safety technicians on hand to help properly install and use child safety seats and booster.
